Position Description:

manage and supervise overall plant operation. Reports to General Manager. Supervise and manage overall plant management system including Production, Maintenance, QA Laboratory, EH&S, Quality and Administration. Control manufacturing budget, improve process performance, optimize operation costs, maximize reliability of operations, prepare monthly and annual production reports required by General Manager.

 

Pre-requisites:

University degree or above in Chemical Engineering or related technical background, fluent at English writing, reading, and speaking. Prior chemical plant management experience required. Proficient in office software including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, ERP. Good knowledge of Management skill, accounting/financial issue, SPC, ISO9000, QS9000, ISO18000, and material supply chain, good leadership and logical mind.

Experience:

Minimum 7 years as production supervisor in petrochemical, chemical plant or semiconductor fab operations.

 

Preferences:

Chinese heritage and language fluency. Experience in Foreign JV company. Experience in high purity chemicals and the wet chemical process for semiconductor or TFTLCD industry.

 

Job Description and Routine Duties:

- Maintains a safe and secure work environment, instilling a deep and completely

accepted culture of safety, cleanliness and safe work practices.

- Maintain compliance and responsibility for all safety and environmental systems

- Responsibility as the ISO9000 & QS9000 Quality System Management Representative

- Responsibility as the ISO14000 System Management Representative

- The responsible authority for all manufacturing site regulatory compliances and ensure all regulatory compliances are kept up to date.

- Develop and maintain training plans for all direct staff members

- Manage and direct manufacturing operations for a continuous 24/hour chemical manufacturing process (Staff > 100)

- Maintain staff performance through routine feedback, training plans, performance

appraisal systems and recognition/discipline systems

- Leader of the Management of Change system

- Maintain strict housekeeping standards at all times by implementing Lean 6-S system(or similar system

- Implement and maintain SPC plans for all departments

- Communicate with other Company departments to optimize organization performance and build teamwork

- Submit monthly report to General Manager

- Responsible for all manufacturing related budgets

- Communicate with local neighbors and regulatory authorities to maintain positive and

proactive relationships

- Work with Sales Manager to implement new products, specifications and special

contractual requirements through the Management of Change system

- Satisfy all customer demands as determined by the Sales Manager in a spirit of

teamwork and cooperation and ensure the staff reflects the same

- Manage the plant output and highest quality to meet customer and market demands

while meeting expense budgets

- Maintain the physical assets of the facilities to ensure investor satisfaction and highest

customer demands.
