You Are:

You are a talented and highly motivated Go-To-Market (GTM) Applications Engineer with a deep understanding of electronic design automation (EDA) tools and methodologies. You excel at conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. Your strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric mindset make you an invaluable resource during the sales process and beyond. With a willingness to travel as required, you are ready to support customer engagements and ensure the successful adoption and implementation of Synopsys solutions. You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and have over three years of experience in applications engineering or technical support within the EDA or semiconductor industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of Synopsys solutions to prospective and existing customers.
• Providing technical expertise and support during the sales process, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and other customer inquiries.
• Conducting technical training sessions and workshops for customers and partners to ensure they have a deep understanding of our products and solutions.
• Working closely with product development teams to provide feedback on customer requirements and help shape the roadmap for future product enhancements.
• Assisting in the creation of technical marketing materials, such as white papers, case studies, and application notes.
• Supporting post-sales activities, including customer onboarding, troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-2+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical support, or a similar role within the EDA or semiconductor industry.
• Strong understanding of electronic design automation (EDA) tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Familiar with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and SVA.
• Experience with SDC constraints in Design Compiler and PrimeTime.
• Familiarity with VCS simulation, Verdi debugging, VC Spyglass flow and Python is a plus.
