A Day in the Life

As a seasoned Accounting and Tax Manager, you will be a key expert within our Taiwan Finance team. You will leverage your extensive experience to ensure the integrity of our accounting operations and contribute to the financial health of the business. This role is perfect for a meticulous and driven professional who thrives on precision and upholding the highest standards.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure all accounting activities and financial statements comply with local regulations and Group IFRS standards.
• Oversee general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary support and documentation to ensure successful audit outcomes.
• Coordinate tax compliance and reporting, overseeing tax audits, tax treaty applications, and transfer pricing documentation to ensure full regulatory alignment.
• Drive continuous process improvements to increase the quality and efficiency of accounting services, including the local implementation of the Group initiatives
• Act as a key liaison between outsourced service centers, regional stakeholders, and local teams to ensure transparent communication and operational continuity.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly experienced accounting professional with a strong analytical mind and exceptional attention to detail. Your ability to navigate complex accounting principles and work collaboratively will be key to your success. You are a great match if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in both corporate accounting and public accounting firms.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Record to Report: Proven expertise in managing the full financial reporting cycle with accuracy.
• Accounting Expertise: Deep knowledge of accounting principles (local GAAP and IFRS) and the ability to handle complex accounting tasks.
• Internal Control: Experience in implementing and maintaining a strong internal control framework.
• Tax Expertise: A solid understanding of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide insightful recommendations.
